Our Vision
The Charlie Fogarty Foundation is dedicated to community engagement through the power of sport, aiming to change the lives of young people and adults who face adversity in the West Midlands and Warwickshire. By creating and delivering exceptional youth sports programs and education-based experiences, the foundation strives to make a positive difference for the young people who are most in need.
We deliver a range of multi-sports programmes to enable participation amongst people with physical, mental and learning difficulties. This includes football, cricket, padel tennis and circuits. Our staff have specialist training in supporting participants with hearing impairments, autism and cerebral palsy and wider SEND support needs.
We've successfully developed programmes that encourage disabled people to become more active in their community and to develop new passions, interests and social networks. We were one of the pioneers of the Ability Counts League, giving disabled people the opportunity to play competitive football. We have successfully trained participants to become qualified coaches, creating new leaders who are experts by experience in understanding how best to involve disabled participants in sport and physical activity.
