Welcome to The Charlie Fogarty Foundation

Charlie Fogarty MBE

In March 2012, Charlie suffered a severe brain injury whilst being hit by an oncoming car as he was crossing a road. Following the incident, Charlie was rushed to Birmingham's Children's Hospital before being placed in an induced coma. He spent 11 uncertain days in intensive care.

He was then transferred to a Neuro ward where he spent the next four months recovering

Charlie completed a six-month rehabilitation programme in Surrey Children's Trust where he learned to eat, walk  and talk again. After a long road to recovery, he finally returned home in February 2013. 11 months after the horrific incident.
